Ethiopia is a full of beautiful nature and wild life, which contains the great blue nile fall which is the begining to the Nile River that crosses Egypt and down. There are also many endemic animals.
Lake Awasa
Lake Awasa lying just 275km south of Addis Ababa. And close to the town of Awasa is peerless. A gentle chain of mountains and a low plateau surround the lake, opening to a wide, low bay in the south.
Swampy bays interspersed with volcanic rocks, sandy shores with bare rocky hills, and every formation of terrain imaginable can be found near Awasa. The lake teems with great variety of fish and as elsewhere in the rift valley endless species of birds.
Awash National Park
Lies 225km east of Addis Ababa featuring the 1800m high fantale volcano, extensive mineral hot springs. The total coverage of the land is 756m2, which the vegetation type is Arid and Semi Arid.
Semien mountain national park
A world heritage site Semien mountain national park covers 1792 km of highland area at an average elevation of 3300 meters. The highest peak in Ethiopia and fourth highest in Africa, 4620meter Ras Dashen stands adjacent to the park. Within this spectacular splendor the Walia Ibex, Semien red Fox, Gelada Baboon, Klipspringer, and Bush Buck. Birds such as the Lammergeyer, Augur Buzzard, Verreaux’s Eagle and Falcon.
